Senior Vice President/Sales
Pamela Hannum, senior vice president of Sales, has more than 25 years in the housewares industry. She began her career as a buyer at Marshall Fields before moving on to Montgomery Ward and Dominick’s Food Stores.
Before joining Whitmor in January of 2004, Pamela spent five years at Lifetime Hoan, followed by 13 years at Ekco Housewares/World Kitchen, where she held various positions including regional sales VP, national sales manager, director of marketing, trademarketingand channel management. She currently lives in the Chicago area with her husband and 4 children.
Alyson Shiryon graduated from New York University with a bachelor of science degree in marketing management. Before college, she had her own sterling-silver jewelry business, and managed and purchased clothing for ladies’ boutiques in NYC.
Alyson started atWhitmorin a sales management position in 1980 and helped establish the Whitmor brand by selling its products to department stores, mass merchandisers and specialty catalog companies throughout the country.
A pioneer in the development of what is known today as the “Home Storage and Organization” category, Alyson primarily covers the Northeast region but also handles many key accounts outside of it. Her major accounts include drug chains, supermarkets, many specialty stores and the off-price market.
Vice President/International Sales
Bringing more than 10 years of sales experience in the hard goods industry to Whitmor, Giancarlo Barzotti, VP/international sales, graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in international business and marketing. Giancarlo is bilingual and has experience selling to multiple channels of distribution and building relationships with key international accounts.
Giancarlo began his career at Alltrade Tools, serving as a sales manager focused on developing the hardware and automotive retail channels. Following his promotion to the position of sales director, Giancarlo was tasked with building an international sales division, cultivating numerous new accounts throughout Central and South America.
Giancarlo was born in Lima, Peru, and has lived in Southern California most of his life. He currently resides in Long Beach, CA, with his wife and 2 young children.
Peggy Meo, VP sales/account executive, has more than 22 years of experience in the housewares industry, most recently as director of national accounts for World Kitchen with account responsibilities includingKohl’sand Sears Holdings.
Before entering sales, Peggy was a trade and channel marketing manager for World Kitchen, covering multiple brands and multiple channels, including grocery, mass and department stores.
Peggy currently lives in the Chicago area. She has 4 daughters and a son, who plays hockey for the University ofWisconsin StevensPoint.
Tom Rathsack, Vice President of Sales, has more than 22 years experience in the housewares industry, where he held various positions including VP of Sales, VP of National Accounts, National Accounts Manager, Key Account Manager and Sales Representative. His past experience includes consistent sales growth with retail partners in all classes of trade. Tom is a graduatefromthe University of Wisconsin- LaCrosse school of business, with a degree in Marketing.
Tom has lived in Wisconsin most of his life and currently resides in Plymouth, Wisconsin with his wife and 2 children. He is responsible for sales of key house national accounts and will be overseeing several key accounts handled by independent manufacturing rep organizations as well.
Vice President/E-Commerce Business Development
Ava King brings more than 20 years in Sales, Business Development and Account Management experience to Whitmor, including over 8 years at Amazon USA and UK.
Ava began her sales career at American Express and Citigroup where she held a variety of positions including VP Global Sales, Director of Client Developments and Sr. Manager - Account Management. At Amazon she worked in several business groups including Gift Cards in Canada, US and UK. Ava helped to launched 13 product categories for Amazon.ca, and was a Sr. Manager Amazon Marketplace and Category Merchant Manager for Consumer Electronics.
Ava earned her Degree in Education at Sheridan College in Canada. She is married and has two sons and currently resides in Seattle.
Vice President/Sales E-Commerce Business Development
Cullen Leahy graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, with an emphasis in Marketing. He began his retail career working with the Men’s Sportswear Division at Kohls.com, after which time he moved to Amazon where he was a buyer for multiple categories. Cullen has primarily focused his retail career on E-Commerce platforms. He has held Buyer positions, as well as Program and Category Management roles.
Cullen was born in Saint Louis, MO but now resides in Seattle, WA with his wife Bobbie.
Danelle Baker brings over 15 years experience in the housewares and consumer goods industry having held previous sales, national account management, and business development positions with IRIS, ProvoCraft, and Newell.
Danelle is a graduate of the University of Utah and now resides in the Dallas area with her husband and two children.
